Nestled in Mont-Orford National Park, just 1.2 km from Jouvence’s reception, this charming off-the-grid cabin offers an unforgettable retreat by Castorie Pond—home to busy beavers and quiet beauty.
Completely renovated in 2009, the Sarracénie features a spacious open-concept layout with a cozy living area, wood stove, dining space, and mezzanine. It sleeps 4 to 8 guests comfortably and is available all year round.
A Back-to-Basics Adventure
The Sarracénie is intentionally free from electricity, internet, or telephone—offering a true immersion in nature. Reach the cabin in under 30 minutes on foot, skis, or snowshoes depending on the season.

Seasonal waterproof boots and clothing
Warm layers and spare clothes
Hat, mittens, scarf (autumn to spring)
Sleeping bag, sheet, pillowcase
Toiletries and flashlight
Indoor shoes and your cell phone
Note: Outdoor equipment access is limited during high season. During regular or low season, it’s available for $20/person/day (free for ages 0–4).
